The era of the personal robot is still a few years away. Thank goodness! That length of time could mark the end of the human race as we know it. Robots are admittedly evil, at least according to every science fiction book and movie on the subject. So please treasure these last few years before the robot apocalypse begins.
While you’re treasuring your time, you might find yourself armed with an Android cell phone. It isn’t a robot (yet), and it isn’t intent on destroying your life (yet). Still, it’s something with which you’re probably unfamiliar. Therefore, I’ve written this part of the book to get you up to speed and oriented with your new Android phone.
